Dark salmon in colour, this wine will capture your senses as its juicy watermelon, pomegranate, and berry profile dance on your palate. The effervescent nature of the wine keeps the intense fruit profile still light on its feet and delivers a bold, yet delicate combination.
The beauty of frizzante style wines is their versatility for both when and where to drink them. The lively and off dry nature of the Selkie Rosé makes it enjoyable to sip on its own, and can continue on into supper time with the right foods. It’s perfect to use as an exciting new twist on the classic brunch mimosa. Off dry wines such as these also work very well with salty food as it creates a ‘ying yang’ type of combination of flavours (think Chicago style popcorn and you get the idea). Good examples include eggs benedict, a meat and cheese board, or a classic Greek salad. This is a very playful and ‘easy to get along with’ type of wine, so just as fitting for Girls Night as it is to kick off your first BBQ of the season. Great value for just under $20.
