Nose

The nose shows a distinct mineral note interwoven with classic apple and floral aromas and a hint of white pepper. The aromatics on the nose allude to a classic Riesling palate; one that achieves balance between vibrant acidity and just the right touch of sweetness.

Palate

True to the impression given on the nose, the palate reveals a freshness and minerality that only Riesling grown in a cool climate can achieve. Gaspereau Vineyards’ Riesling is a blend of Riesling grown in three distinct locations in the Annapolis Valley: Gaspereau Estate, Black Dogs and Warner’s vineyards. Combining these unique terroirs creates a truly Nova Scotian Riesling. Notes of apple with floral undertones and hints of dried apricot are expressed on the palate with a dominate mineral note. It finishes with a refreshing acidity, a lingering apple and mineral note and a balanced sweetness.

Pairings
