Jost Marble Mountain
Marble quarries and vineyards are a combination that dates to the Romans. Light and fresh, this is our tribute to the grape growers of Cape Breton’s Marble Mountain, where the limestone and marble form a terroir unlike anywhere else in Nova Scotia. The sweet sun of summer is coming to Marble Mountain.
Marble Mountains had a bright, playful nose of raspberry, cherry, elderberry, strawberry and a hint of red currant.
Fruity and fresh, Marble Mountain is well-balanced with a crisp acidity accented by a touch of sweetness. Mixed berries tantalize while a touch of citrus fruit dances across the tongue.
Pair with fish and chips, bacon wrapped scallops, pork tenderloin, BBQ chicken, Italian sausage, mild to medium Indian curried rice, clubhouse sandwiches, spaghetti and meatballs, sushi, seared tuna.
